If you are needing to repipe your home or business, do to poor water pressure or flow. Pex piping could be the answer for your needs.

What is Pex tubing ? It is cross-linked polyethylene. There are several processes of making the Pex tubing.  Which makes it very durable under temperature extremes. Makes it an excellent piping for many applications, hot water, cold water and more.

Pex tubing over copper tubing. Pex tubing can save money as the cost of tubing is much less than copper these days, fittings cost less, and labor cost are much less.

Installation of  Pex tubing can be as much as 50% faster than copper with no torches to deal with. ( no worrying about burning the house down ) Pex is very flexible, which can be run without as many elbows, as needed with copper piping.

Pex tubing can also be used under slab floors for potable water systems, or runs for radiant floor heating systems.  Pex comes 100 , 300, 500, foot rolls so when using under a slab floor there are no joints to leak . When any piping penetrates a concrete slab, it must be sleeved or wrapped for protection.

One thing with Pex is that it can’t be used outside where it’s exposed to UV sunlight exposure for any period of time. Check manufactures specs for amount of time it can be exposed.

Pex has shown not  to corrode from minerals in your water, as copper is known to corrode or even fail in some systems, where there is a high mineral presence.  It also will with stand freezing better than copper.

Pex tubing maybe the right choice for you.

It could also save lots of time and money !!
