We just completed a new installation of a Rheem Tankless Water Heater.
The Roseville homeowner called us for an estimate for installing a tankless water heater in his home. Doing his due diligence, the homeowner had already received bids from a handful of other plumbing contractors.
The problem we immediately diagnosed was the location. The homeowner’s old gas waterheater was located in the basement below the home. While this in itself is not a problem, there were however, signs of high water in the basement. The homeowner had a sump pump, it was obvious, the pump was either broken or wasn’t working properly.
We alerted the homeowner to his water problem and suggested the placement on an exterior wall above grade. This not only solved the “flooding” problem, but it also helped reduce the cost of the installation of the new tankless water heater. This was accomplished by eliminating the need for costly gas ducting and sump pump replacement.
The new tankless water heater installed, is non obtrusive and readily accesible for maintenance.
